On the 20th April our Association met with the Secretary of State for Tourism, Matilde Pastora Asian, in the Minsitry for Energy, Tourism and Digital Agenda.
This was, of course, an important step in order to formalise our project within the framework of official organisations.
The maximum authority in Tourism was able to find out more about the most imminent projects of our Association through Alberto Medel and Javier Garat. She was also informed by Luis Bejarano of his intention to begin his journey around the world as soon as possible, thereby shaping the promotional projects of the 500th anniversary.
Everyone agreed that Sanlúcar de Barrameda in particular can benefit greatly from a policy of attracting events based on the centenary, and every effort should not be spared.
The Secretary’s positive energy and her enormous interest in the idea has given our team a huge morale boost, and already results can be seen in the proposed objectives.
